About me
I am a twenty-five year old cellist, teacher, and enthusiastic baker. To me, baking is one of the most wonderful kinds of alchemy, and the endless possibility of delicious combinations never ceases to pique my interest.
About the blog
My last name, "Di Meglio", translates to "of the best" in English, which has infused itself into the title. Contrary to the piles of bowls and dirty kitchen utensils I leave in my wake, I am on a quest to streamline the cooking process and find the "best" way to cook. Maria of the Best is my personal playground of recipes and articles from some of my favorite writers and friends.
